CETEM is a non-profit private technology centre funded in 1994, with 30 employees. CETEM’s main goals is the support and promotion of local industries through the research and innovation in technologically advanced areas. The British Furniture Manufacturers (BFM) is a trade association; an employers’ organisation and member of the European Furniture Manufacturers’ Association (UEA). BFM has been funded in 1947, and accounts 6 employees representing the interests of the furniture industry for more than 60 years. Plama-pur is a producer of flexible polyurethane foams with over 50-years-experience. It was founded in 1955 and accounts 221 employees. Our products are sold all over the world. Most of them are used in automotive industry, upholstered furniture and mattresses industry, building and shoe industry. They are appearing also in packaging and consumption goods industry. Experience offered: PU foams production in real conditions, industrial testing and evaluation of results.
Industry testing of the new developed PU foams in real end-user products like mattresses, 3D shaped foam. Plama-pur will collaborate at those activities regarding the foam manufacture: design, production, laboratory testing, storing and curing. In addition, Plama-pur will be involved in those activities regarding polyurethane foam moulding/ final use.
